Hey, ah, I made a couple little changes based on design crit and some other just general tidying up. So one thing we talked about in Design print today was just the CTA for getting into the invite modal.

So this is what I started with. So I made the Invite Collaborators action, which used to say invite teammates and it had a present icon.

I had that say Invite collaborators, and then under it I have it saying invite to earn more storage with the present icon.

Some folks felt like between the two different alignments, so this is less aligned, this is centered, and two different icons.

It just felt like a lot. And I definitely agree. So one little thing we could do there is just remove the little present icon and center this.

And it definitely feels a little bit more resolved. Another thing we talked about, actually, this is something Crystal was playing with during print, which is great, is maybe keeping the existing look and feel where the CTA is like just an extension of this workspace switcher.

And we include the reason to invite just below the label text. I think from a visual design standpoint, this feels really resolved and nice.

The only thing I'm wondering is if this ultimately is used more because this is like a discrete element. It's just like this discrete button that feels more topable compared to this.

But I don't have a strong opinion there. Curious what others think. The other thing we talked about is just like, which icon to use.

So I'm using the mail icon now. Currently we use a person icon that looks very similar to this one. I'm a little nervous about using the same icon for a different behavior, so using this for share and Invite, but maybe I'm overthinking it.

Curious if I was at the thoughts. I think these are both clear than using a present icon and then also invited or updated rather the toast text based on some feedback I received from Jeff.

So once you've invited, basically saying like, three people, or however many people you invited were invited to collaborate, remind them to join to earn free video storage.

Jeff, I remember you mentioned maybe mentioning the people by name. I don't think that will be possible because you're entering emails.

So we actually likely don't know their name, but still wanted to include some incentives or basically wanted to kind of reinforce, hey, there's value to reminding these folks to join because you're ultimately trying to get more storage.

That's it for that. This hasn't changed. Okay a little bit changed here, so I added a tool tip. This is based on something Jess mentioned.

So if you hover over the switch, we basically remind you that turning this off, deactivates the invite link and then when you turn it back on, it generates a new link.

Also, when you perform this interaction, we tell you, like, when you flip the switch, a toast displays will tell you it's been deactivated.

And when you flip it back on, we say, hey, a new invite link has been created and turned on. So we're doing that both via tooltips and via toast.

The other thing I thought about is there was some conversation going on, like, I think Crystal, Mahmud and Tatiano were talking about, do we need these two drop downs here and here?

I ultimately, after thinking about it, believe we do. Because I think if we rely on just the affordance here, and folks go to enter an email or multiple emails and want to change the role, I don't think they'll think to look down here and to change it.

So recommending we keep both. And we just make sure the dropdowns when you click these are identical. Also, just clarify these since the previous design, to include a little more text that explains like, what each role means.

And would definitely like feedback here if I'm missing anything, as this is a little something I'm not as familiar with.

Yeah I believe that is it. Oh, little detail. Just get feedback on, like this said previously, like, no free storage.

Or I forget what I said, but it was kind of a negative. And just had a good idea of basically leading with the incentives.

So saying something like, start earning free storage. Which this actually said before, but we actually can remove that. And just focus on how you earn and more storage.

Yeah, but that's it. Let me know if you have any more feedback. And yes. Talk to you later. Bye.
