TG — Alternative component names

Hey, just wanted to share a really small quality of life improvement for a design system, which is like including alternative names for your component so that they're more easy to find by people that might have different names for things like not all of us are native English speakers, so sometimes we call things and, and on our memory will, we'll recall a name that might not be the actual component name on, on your design system.

So way you do that is like you would either brainstorm with your team or just try to come up with different words for, for what the component might be.

But of course, like ask your team, like what else would they call it? And then you basically come into the, the component you go to the docs and you can include here, like the, the, the different alternative names that you have.

So now what you can do is you can, when you insert component, you can actually search for, let's say brand because maybe I call a logo brand and then I get the logo there.

And so this is like a really, really small tip that could make a lot of efforts in terms of accessibility of, of, of the, of the consumer experience of your design system.
