Hey, everyone. Welcome back from our summer week break away. I hope you all got to recharge disconnect and, um, just really, you know, enjoy a week away from work.
A few highlights from my week as a special edition of a weekly update, uh, we were able to take the fam to Puerto Rico.
It was just not only just gorgeous, but, you know, frankly, it was just nice to kind of be away with just us as a family, but you, my husband and the kids, and just enjoy all things, sun and sand and seeing the beach through their eyes, uh, definitely had some good sand castle making.
We took some nice sunset walks. We enjoyed, you know, ice cream at the end of dinner and licking the bowls clean.
And we definitely all passed out. Um, I think on our way home. Um, and then we spent the second half of the week, um, back in New York and got to just enjoy the simple pleasures that I'm not able to enjoy every day when you just, you know, heading to central park and grabbing some ice cream from an ice cream truck.
Um, and the weather has been oddly gorgeous. Uh, so enjoying it while we can. Um, yeah, and, you know, just really got back to basics.
I slept a lot, which, uh, was just felt, I felt so spoiled to be able to sleep that much. Um, I got to exercise, which, you know, I am kind of getting back if you will, in the groove and doing, but it's, it's been a challenge overall since I've had kids.
So that felt really great. Um, I got to read a little bit, not some new plants for the house to just make it feel a little bit more fresh and alive.
And most importantly, what I enjoyed the most was leaving my phone at home. It was the most liberating feeling to be able to just like leave my devices at home without any obligations and just walk out the door and not worry about a thing.
Um, so, you know, hope to do that more, at least on the weekends. Uh, we'll see how long that lasts.
Um, so speaking of what I'll be focusing at coming back into work is, um, just trying to continue the basics and sticking to those fundamentals of taking care of myself, um, as it really has just made such a difference in my mindset and being more present.
Um, work-wise, I'll be very much focused on recruiting the product center for growth, along with Jess, uh, diving into spaces, sharing community looms, all things that we'll be workshopping this week and working on, obviously for the remainder of the quarter, um, I'll be supporting, uh, Rajiv Kitt, Kim and Sean Goodwin on create Aubrey is out.
And then also, um, you know, we're kicking up a few customer calls with design teams of customers. So if you are interested in joining me, I would love, um, for design teams to hear firsthand from our own team and how we use loom and how it's really changed the way we work.
So let me know. Um, but welcome back and really excited to just dive into this quarter with you all. Um, I feel very recharged and refreshed and I hope you do as well.
And I can't wait to see you in the zoom averse Luma ever since lack of verse, right? Take care.
