Hi, I'm Shawn Rossi. I am the vice president for communication and member engagement at the Mississippi hospital association. And loom has asked us to share how we use their application in our everyday work week.
And, um, here I have shown you how we use it for members. Uh, we have, um, I'm responsible for member engagement, so onboarding new members, I use it often to help people learn how to register for events, how to access, uh, private online communities, things that require a few more steps than email makes it cumbersome to sin.
But if you show someone it's fairly simple also for staff, we have training materials for different things at all. We have staff too, that it's useful because maybe you only do something once every two months.
Well, if you don't use that skill that you just learned every day, it's easy to forget it, but if you can keep in a folder somewhere or in your back pocket, a link that will show you how to do it again, it makes it much easier.
Um, also we've only been using it for about four months now, but I am starting to see applications of how we could use it for social media, uh, because it is so quick and easy to record videos like these.
And we're often trying to explain some complex health issues on a policy and legislative front. Uh, you can also have PowerPoint presentations going at the same time while you do this and other type of, uh, on-screen information.
Uh, so I'm looking forward to experimenting in the coming months with how I can use it on social media. Uh, my email address is S rossi@mhanet.org.
If you have any questions about loom, just let me know.
