This is just a quick, um, example of how we use, uh, loom as a feedback tool in our business. Um, so I think like a lot of in-house legal teams, um, we hire new team members all the time who then review, um, contracts.
Um, in the beginning, uh, whilst the team members ramping up, we check all their work and want to give feedback as to how, um, uh, we may need to change certain things.
So instead of doing a markup and fixing their work and then showing them the differences, and then either setting up a meeting or maybe not getting around to setting up a meeting to go through the changes, I found that the quickest way, um, to efficiently fix the work but also give the feedback, is to just have this recording, um, this, this little video recording software called Loom whilst I do the review.
So that way I can, during my review say, oh, you missed here, that this should also say except for, um, any liability under our indemnities.
And then I can provide some context as to why that needed to be excluded there as well. Um, and that's it.
And it, I found that, um, uh, new team members, uh, get up to speed much quicker this way because they can actually hear the, the reasoning behind every change or every fix, uh, to their work as opposed to just, um, you know, one or two that I may, may have had time to share in the past.
