Hi everybody. Um, I just had this kind of aha moment. Um, as I was prepping a deck today for, um, a team who wants to use loom for onboarding and coming from the world of onboarding.

Um, I'm always thinking about adult learning principles. So if you don't know about adult learning principles, um, this basically explains the ways that adults learn versus children.

And there are some differences. And by thinking about these in the way that we onboard our customers, we can really tap into, uh, things that are going to motivate them.

But I found this awesome infographic and it just made me really even more excited to be here at Lee. So let me kind of walk through this with you, um, and you can really see how Liam fits in here.

So what do adults remember? 10% of what we read. So think of our customers who are sending emails to their clients, uh, to their prospects, um, their internal knowledge base is, you know, in notion it's all in text 10% of that, it's gotta be remembered.

Um, when they hear it maybe on an all hands meeting or a zoom recording, um, 20%, um, when they see it 30% and when they hear and see here's where a loom is starting to come in 50%, we're hearing it, we're seeing it on the screen.

Now, when can this be really impactful when we stopping viewers and start being creators? So we remember 70% of what we say.

So this is why it's so important for, uh, people who use loom to take, take what they're hearing and now, uh, say it and create their own looms.

And when they say I do 90%, um, so this is something that I'm going to be talking about a lot more diving into and learning about.

Um, but I just wanted to share this kind of cool, uh, aha moment, uh, that I had today.
