I love that 3, 2, 1, because half the time I'm distracted, I'm looking at my dog. You never know where I might be looking.
Um, my name is Amy art and I'm the talent manager at a company called rider access. And we hire and recruit, um, and employ freelance writers to work with our many clients who might be looking for excellent content.
And as my job is kind of 50 50, I recruit writers, but I also train them when they come on board and are approved to write for us.
So loom is an excellent tool for me to be able to teach them all different pieces of our software. So, as an example, I love the little, um, section down to the bottom left, um, just because I don't want to have my face in the way of our software so that they can see everything, but also the video option just makes it much more approachable.
So I do like to kind of be able to talk to them like I'm sitting in their living room with them, which typically I am virtually.
So I might show the writer how to upload a headshot, for example, um, I might teach them how to, um, enter their experience information here.
Um, I use two screens, so I do find that I look up a little bit, but I don't think that it matters because the client is really, you know, the writer typically is looking at, um, at the information here, but I do love loom because it gives me the option of sending videos out on a scheduled basis.
So I do best practices on Fridays, which the writers tend to enjoy. And, um, I also even answer some help desk tickets by just recording a quick video to show somebody, oh, all you need to do is, you know, add your sample here.
This is how you add the URL, blah, blah, blah. And so it makes it nice and easy for me to send just little snippets.
Um, and I will confess that I was a free user for quite a while. And then I realized the huge benefits of having, um, the paid service.
So I now probably racked up about 20 different videos that I could use at any time. And, um, it just allows me to not have to worry about the caps and I can go over five minutes if I want to rattle on for awhile.
And, you know, sometimes I have fun. I will, you know, have costumes or props or music at Christmas. I had a holiday music going in the background and it's just nice and fun to be able to kind of re you know, create your own atmosphere there.
So I love Lim. Um, thanks for inviting me to show my video of what I do. And, um, I just think it's a great, great platform.
So thanks so much. Have a great day.
