Hi, I'm Sam from the loom team. And I'm going to show you how to use async video to kick off a company initiative.

My colleague, Emily on the communications team has filmed a loom walking through one of the modern work experiments that she's launching at the company.

No meeting Wednesdays, take a look at her kickoff video. Hello roommates. Welcome back to modern work experiments. We are launching the no meeting Wednesdays experiment tomorrow.

I know it's a quick turnaround from the offsite last week when we announced it, but with the short, but the long weekend, we're coming back hot with kicking this off tomorrow.

So tomorrow is our first no meeting Wednesday of Q1, and we'll be running it through the rest of the quarter.

In this notion doc, you can see the general FAQ around modern work experiments, and then a specific one to this experiment.

So please DM me if you have any questions or asking this channel, but if you feel like you don't want to ask in front of everybody, you can DME share feedback, share thoughts as always.

We encourage that. That's how we're learning, what's working and what's not. But a couple of things to call out. The reason we're trying Wednesdays as Vinay shared in the virtual offsite last week is because after I know meaning Friday's experiment in December 85% wanted to make this a permanent practice and Wednesdays were the next highest ranked day for trying it out.

And we've also heard from peer companies that Wednesdays can be a particular unlock for work for the rest of the week.

So we think it's worth experimenting with Wednesdays. We know it's a bit harder of a lift to begin with since Fridays are typically like naturally later on meetings and Wednesdays are.

So it will take some moving things around again move all internal meetings with just roommates from your calendars or make it a sync.

If you have an external meetings such as with a partner or a customer or a candidate, especially if it's tomorrow, it don't feel like you have to move that.

You know, if it's two weeks out on a Wednesday in February, maybe you can move that one. But you know, the only thing we're really, really strongly encouraging is participating in this experiment is moving all internal meetings off of Wednesdays to really carve out focus time and see if that helps us all feel more productive and find more balance during the week.

We also we'll be looking to learn from this. So we'll be sending a survey around at the end. So keep an eye out for that.

Feel free to share feedback. And one last thing, if there's recurring meetings on your calendars on Wednesdays, such as the funky monkey, don't worry.

We will be moving that. And yeah, let me know if you have any questions. We're really excited to kick this off.

Thanks.
