Brainstorm revisions: Invite to collaborate

Hey. Morning. Jess and Mamud. I checked out your feedback and just had a couple of changes and also just a request or two.
So one thing I did is I kept this one the same. So Loom is not thought of as a collaborative surface.
I think this is like an interesting one to bring up. Like basically both creators and viewers don't have this understanding that it is one, and then kept this the same as well.
Same hypothesis, the first one. So basically, we believe if we better surface the benefits of inviting and joining, that more people will do.
So I also wrote this new one of we believe if we invest in new incentives for creators and viewers, including more ways to collaborate, that more people will invite and join.
Previously, this was focused 100% on basically if we better surface the collaboration opportunities that more people will invite and join.
But I expanded it to focus on just like, new incentives in general. And then I also changed the opportunity to basically, we can make inviting as a creator and joining as a viewer feel like a necessary action.
Because I think right now both inviting as a creator and both joining as a viewer feel, I think unnecessary for a lot of folks.
One thing my mood I was thinking about as I was kind of making some revisions and hearing what y'all are responding to is, I think so this table, as we all know, shows some of the collaborative differences of some products.
Like what do some of these multiplayer and singleplayer products offer in the way of collaboration. I wonder if we also want to do a chart for incentives.
So just imagine if a table right before this one was all about different incentives that different products offer that are maybe in a similar space, or maybe they don't even have to be in a similar space.
This is something I might need help with, though. But I'm thinking basically a similar format, maybe we have four products and we just list out a couple really compelling incentives to both invite and join on other platforms.
Yeah. So let me know if that makes sense. And if you're down for helping me with that, maybe we can just collaborate in slack and I'm happy to just throw it in the slides just to make it easy.
And then the only other thing I changed, though, this is still the same. So how might we make loom feel more collaborative?
The second one is how might we incentivize creators and viewers in new ways? And then I just say consider incentives beyond storage incentives and lightweight to make loom a more collaborative surface.
So the idea here is, I think we'll get a lot more ideas that are broader in scope. So not just collaborative ideas, but just incentive ideas in general.
Let me know if that makes sense. And yeah, talk to you later. I think we can kick this off pretty shortly.
I asked Margie if she had out any insights to share as well. If I find those, like, sooner rather than later, I'll pop those in as well.
Yeah, talk to you later.
