If a patient hasn't met their deductible does that mean they have to pay in full?

If a patient has not met their deductible, insurance will bill the patient the remaining balance of their deductible. So for example, if a claim paid out $600 but the patient owed $200 on their deductible, they would be billed the $200 and your claim portion would be 80% of $800.

Hi there! Amazing service you have put together it seemed very overwhelming to take this on prior! Upon paying the $100 fee (I have to pay my rent next week first before I onboard) will there be a list of procedures that are and are not ge really covered other than scars/areola/nipple for post mastectomy. For example burn/accident/non-cosmetic surgical scarring… and also will there be information on what the best amount to charge is to make the service affordable as possible for the patient but still have the Artist make a reasonable amount for the services? And will there be a list of insurances known to cover certain things? is any of this information like a doctor approval notices required or is this again covered after onboarding? Sorry if his is z dumb question, but does the insurance pay through Artist or fies thr patient pay in full and the Artist submits the claim so thst the client can go through steps with their insurance to get reimbursed themselves?
