We were running TMAC on a military machine when an operator saw an undercut alarm and the machine stopped. On inspection, half the part was gone, and the break surface was already oxidized, pointing to an inclusion in the bar that ran through the middle and cut across during profiling. TMAC prevented further tool, workholding, and potential quality escape risk, letting us stop and alert the material supplier, and review other parts from that bar. I also showed the TMAC cutting signature and the undercut limit that should have sustained a plateau for about 3 seconds. No viewer action was requested."}
