I created a multi-line chart with D3 to visualize these trends, highlighting a significant spike during the pandemic in 2021, where Gen Z peaked at over 8.6 hours a day. Interestingly, while Gen Z and Gen X saw sharp increases, millennials had a relatively flat usage curve throughout this period. Overall, Gen Z had the highest total increase of 1.8 hours a day since 2015, but Gen X experienced the most significant relative growth.
