1. Cancel and refund the child order. Child orders are processed through &quot;Send To Many&quot;. These aren&apos;t the real transactions on the order but we should still refund them to clear the revenue. Restock the inventory if appropriate. Turn off the customer notification.

2. Issue a refund against the parent order. 
- Find the parent order. If Send To Many canceled this order, it still holds the revenue for the order and you can still issue a refund against it. 
- After clicking the Refund button, select the quantity of each product to remove from the parent order. You&apos;ll see a note that the item can&apos;t be restocked. That&apos;s alright as these are just placeholder custom items in the parent order. 
- Paste the total refund amount from the child order into the Refund Amount field. (You can&apos;t adjust any tax or shipping custom line items.)
- Choose the refund method: original payment method or store credit, if available.
- Add a reason note. You might want to note the tax and shipping amounts being refunded from the child order here.
