It checks sampling results against any active discharge limits, validates sampling specifications, and converts units when needed. If there are issues, it surfaces non conformances, including limit exceedances and missing requirements like chain of custody, while specification mismatches show as exceptions rather than violations. Non conformances disappear if you retract the report, and past due reports also generate an exception after they become overdue.
