The demo uses a local simulator instead of a live WhatsApp API integration. The simulator sends the same type of webhook request that the backend would receive from WhatsApp, allowing the complete message-processing flow to be demonstrated without relying on paid external services. I demonstrate product lookup, inventory management, recording a sale, automatic stock deduction, low-stock detection and alerting, background task processing, reporting, and outbound message localization. I also explain how the system uses Redis for message deduplication, PostgreSQL for persistent data, and Celery for work that should happen outside the main request-response cycle. The demo concludes by switching the shop's configured locale and showing how subsequent outbound messages are localized accordingly.
