I demonstrate how to use the tool by entering data for the United States and a hot-rolled coil CN code, which allows us to estimate the CBAM cost based on default values. I also highlight the view and variable selections, and I encourage you to input your own emissions data for more tailored outputs. Additionally, you can model various scenarios, such as different EUA price trajectories and decarbonization pathways. I recommend that importers and procurement teams utilize this tool to better estimate costs and compare sourcing options.
