Smart Extract processes documents in real time with up to 15 seconds to wait per document and supports structured documents, unclear scans within reason, and handwritten documents. After extraction, an icon appears in the document list and the extracted data shows in the bottom left, with three extraction types: lines, service, and summary, where summary groups by taxable and tax free and uses generic descriptions. Smart Extract can be initiated during upload with a tick box and extraction type dropdown or afterward via the Smart Extract button in the Processing tab, and it can also be enabled to auto run in company settings with a default extraction type.
