I created a template and a test node, published it to the state, then confirmed there was no mode type and no template until I imported it from TestVault. After enabling support.mode type, I imported and loaded it and confirmed the template was correctly matched. Then I deleted the latest imported note type from the file and confirmed the template data part was disabled. I import again to show what happens when I enable support.mode type without having the template plugin turned on.</description></oembed>
