The free online workshop runs from October 19 to November 20, and due to fewer volunteers it is first come, first served. Registration is done through SantacruzCoe.org by clicking the news banner item “College Application Essay Workshop” and filling out a Google Form with details such as grade, whether you plan to attend UC and/or private college, and whether you can spend 10 or more hours drafting your essay. After registering, participants are matched with a mentor the week of October 12.
