From the main page, open the Apps section to view installed apps, then go to Settings and select Apps, scrolling down to Apps if needed. Choose All Apps, find the app in alphabetical order such as VLC Media Player, and open its app page to select Uninstall, and if applicable stop it while running. After uninstalling, the app no longer appears in the Apps list on the menu.
