Booking the cruise itself was easy and straightforward on the Viking website. However, the airfare included in the package was not optional, which I will explain further. While letting Viking book the airfare was convenient, the economy fare they provided was more expensive than what I could find independently. Additionally, upgrading the booked flight through Viking was even more costly than purchasing a new ticket outright.
