Either way, you'll see an "Update to New" button next to your active Mailchimp integration. Step 2: Authenticate  Click "Update to New." Spectora will redirect you to the new settings and authenticate in the background. Your existing API key carries over automatically — no action needed. Step 3: Choose who to sync  Select whether you want to sync clients, agents, or both. If you're migrating existing contacts, leave "Sync Existing" off for now (you can enable it later if needed). Choose your Mailchimp audience from the dropdown. Step 4: Set up tag syncing  This is new — the legacy integration didn't sync tags. You have three options: Don't sync tags — keep things as-is Replace Mailchimp tags — Spectora becomes the source of truth; manual Mailchimp tags will be removed Add alongside Mailchimp tags — Spectora tags appear with a "Spectora" label prefix so they stay distinct You can also choose to sync only new tags going forward rather than backfilling existing ones. Step 5: Save  Hit Save. If you enabled a backfill, it'll process in the background (give it a few minutes). Your integration will now show as active with no "Update" button — you're done. To adjust settings later, click Configure on the Mailchimp integration card.
