Over the span of two years, students will study a wide range of texts and develop skills in reading and writing for various purposes and audiences. The courses are assessed through terminal examinations, resulting in two GCSE awards. I also discuss the exam specifications and board, which is WJEC, and highlight the importance of developing knowledge and skills in reading, writing, and critical thinking.
