In this video, I introduced myself as Kayla McSweeney, a first-year teacher at Eisenhower, where I teach U.S. History, World History, and Government, and coach JV tennis. I shared my educational background and outlined what we will explore in U.S. History, emphasizing critical thinking and connecting historical themes to current issues. I also discussed key expectations for students, including being prepared, participating in discussions, and keeping up with assignments, along with my late work and retake policies.
