First I select the floor, then I select a straight detail line, not a curve, and we extract solid geometry and convert the line into a plane for cutting. I cut the solid with mirrored planes to get two half pieces, extract the top and bottom faces to get new outlines, and create two new floors. I also copy parameters from the original floor and then delete the original. I ask you to try doing it on your own first, then follow along.</description></oembed>
