For a one off SMS, go to a lead, click the SMS icon, confirm the sending number and the lead phone number, choose a pre made SMS template or type manually, and optionally schedule the message with a selected date, time, and timezone. For an SMS campaign, switch to ListView, use a smart filter for the target leads, then use Actions and Send an SMS to name the campaign (example TaskCampaign), set the sending number and selected contacts, choose an SMS template or type manually, and click Send SMS.
