I was filled with nerves and anxiety, but also excited about making a difference for children. On the theory side I had cognitive overload and felt unsure navigating the curriculum, especially after my prior mathematics unit led to self doubt. By topic 8, writing detailed notes and reflections helped me shift to more confidence and clarity, and connecting the dots shaped my teacher identity. I also share my strong purpose for including Indigenous perspectives and creating a culturally responsive safe environment for all learners.</description></oembed>
