We still match based on the email address of the incoming record and apply filters and tie-breakers to refine our results. Previously, filters only considered fields on the existing record, but we&apos;ve now extended this to include comparisons like lead company name against the person’s company name. For example, if someone submits a personal email, we can verify their company affiliation to avoid duplicates.
