They generally consist of messages about deliveries or other important information. Workers who sign on to site on the day of the pre-start or between the dates it's shown will be the ones who see it. Pre-starts can also be used to highlight risks or other important information. On the other hand, toolboxes are meetings that are scheduled and notified to workers. Attendees can be marked and their attendance recorded, along with notes about what was discussed. Both pre-starts and toolboxes can be acknowledged by workers, and their attendance can be tracked.
