After the passing of my husband, I felt like a hollowed-out shell, but by the end of the 2023 school year, I was starting to feel better and was excited to return. Unfortunately, just after school ended, I received the news that my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer, which has shifted my focus to caring for him. I find myself rushing out of school every day to be with him, and I often feel distracted during the day. I encourage everyone to check in on their loved ones and support each other during tough times.</description></oembed>
