She started selling perfumes and sweets in high school, then studied biomedical engineering at Queen Mary, and began one-to-one tutoring that grew from about 10 students to 50 to 70 over a six-week summer, eventually recruiting up to 30 tutors to reach 250 students. She has recently launched an AI tool that assesses students’ weaknesses and assigns daily revision tasks, and she also runs a sister company, The Future Doctors Academy. She is interested in a potential buyer to take over Smartex, but wants a new role to learn more, work with experienced people, and the flexibility to travel in a remote setup.
