Previously, investigations used dropdowns to select contributing factors such as change management, equipment use, or operating speed, with details entered in fixed fields. The new version lets users record contributing factors as separate secret items linked to specific team actions, for example incorrect laptop use outside web duties and failure to comply with the standard use policy. It also enables linking each contributing factor to specific system controls that failed, improving root cause reporting and more detailed contributing factor frequency analysis.
