Inside the items file, there is a Substitutes subtab where you can add other items that replace the current one if it is out of stock. I add a substitute by clicking the plus symbol and searching for the item. Then, in a sales order, I use the new Substitutes button to see the substitute item and how much is in stock, and I hit Use to instantly replace the item.</description></oembed>
