For this topic, we shift our focus from participation in a learning environment to the perspective of the educator in the design for learning. Marti Cleveland-Innes stated in her webinar that the key question about good design for Blended and online learning is: What will the learners actually be doing?
Our PBL team took up this question and tried to design/create a collection of teaching &amp; learning activities for a two week period. We took Topic 4 of ONL as an illustrative example. To create an instructional design for these two weeks, we used a tool called “Learning Designer”.
