MedCycle Network, a San Francisco nonprofit, matches hospital surplus to clinic demand using a tech-enabled hyperlocal process: collection, cataloging and online matching, rapid local delivery, and transparency reporting. In its first year MedCycle Network redistributed over $1.8 million in medical surplus to more than 20 local clinic partners supporting about 180,000 people, and it expects to reach about 500,000 served by year end; in the first half of 2026 it already matched the first-year total.
