This kind of access is new to campus, enabling you to analyze trends, track progress, and make informed decisions for your research projects.
What about data older than 10 years?
The Sponsored Operations Office will have continued access to proposal and award data older than 10 years.
You can request reports from this data, similar to the current practice of requesting reports from the Sponsored Operations Office.
The production environment is our official system of record for proposals and awards.
As you go through this training video, you may be tempted to create a “test” project.
Please do not create a “test” proposal.
However, feel free to follow along with a proposal you plan on submitting in the future. This training will give you a good start toward a proposal that can be submitted.
Cayuse is a project-based system — meaning proposals and awards are tied to projects.
In many cases, you will create a new project when you create a proposal.
In some cases, such as an NIH revised submission, you might create a proposal under an existing project.
During today’s training, we will focus on creating new project proposals.
Going forward, you will work with Sponsored Programs to figure out if a proposal should be under a new or existing project.
We’ll provide support and resources to assist you and it will become more intuitive as we all use the system more.</description></oembed>
