Click the messaging icon at the top to open the messaging page, then add a new message and choose who it goes to by location, team, and shift criteria such as today, tomorrow, this week, or yesterday. You can also CC other admins, add a subject, optionally include a hyperlink, and turn replies on or off. I also cover scheduling, follow up in the same thread, and that workers get a push notification. Action requested is to view the message, and if replies are enabled, reply to my request.
