Instead of immediately completing the shipment and invoicing, the order moves to a waiting packing step where another user re-scans products at a packing station to confirm quantities. Discrepancies are recorded with reason codes, can be optionally accompanied by notes, and are visible through a Packing discrepancies button with results by default for the last seven days and printable to PDF. The setup is done in warehouse management settings by enabling “Separate Packing Validation,” along with discrepancy reason configuration and whether reasons are required.
