From the appointment book, I went to More, then Settings, and under Management clicked Taxes, selected your region, and enabled each tax item I needed. For each tax, I clicked Modify, added the name and rate, then clicked Save when finished. To apply tax, I checked the appropriate tax box when adding a new service or product, and you can update existing items anytime.
