We discussed eligibility requirements, including the need for a 501C3 designation for community organizations and the importance of low canopy or low-income areas. The application deadline is May 7th, and I encouraged everyone to start their eligibility questionnaire immediately. I also highlighted the importance of planning for tree maintenance and the resources available to support applicants.
