Hey, my name is Sean Thompson, and I'm a designer here at Loom on the product team. And as you can imagine, the design team uses Loom in so many ways to augment our process because we're both building the products, but also using it as a communication tool.
But one example I wanted to talk about is how we use it to really have a rich conversation around our design system, which is called lens.
So this is just an example of conversation I might have using Loom. So there's a front end engineer that I partner with all the time.
His name is Hyke. He has really pushed lens forward in so many ways. So I have tons of questions for him.
And as he can imagine questions around design or questions around a design system, really benefit from the, the richness of being able to show someone something while asking a question.
So here's how a dialogue might go, Hey, Hyke. So I was checking out the lens design system. And one detail I noticed is the, the way we actually make the actions darker, both when you hover over them, but also when you top them.
And while I love that one thing I noticed when kind of comparing them is the, the act, the hover state and the active state for the red action feels a lot duller than the blue and the purple and the orange versions.
And just wondering if we can potentially adjust that color would love to know what the value is and just how to potentially iterate on that.
And then another quick question I had is I noticed the awesome toggle we have for seeing all of these things in night mode.
And just wondering how the color considerations change based on toggling between light and dark modes. So thanks for any help and talk to you later.
